Pine Springs Summer Camp

All of Jake's camp clothes and supplies, along with his sleeping bag and pillow, are in this GIANT bag!
The building in front of Jake is the dining hall. I am on kitchen duty throughout the week and am helping with a girls' discussion group as part of Lane's Bible class on relationships.

You can see the cabins in this photo. This is an LCU camp, so Lane had to wear his ACU shirt on the first day, of course! The director - a VP at LCU - noticed right away! An LCU recruiter is here, and she visited with me about Luke coming to LCU. They called him after they received his SAT scores last week.
Luke and Jake are together quite a bit so far (not in the same cabin). But, they have eaten several meals together! We have 11 campers from our church, along with the youth minister and his family.
Lane and I are in this cabin on the upper floor. The cabin is only a few years old. And Kel, I have my morning Adkins shakes in a little fridge in the cabin! We're on the lookout for bears, as several have visited the dumpters and even come a little ways into the camp lately!
I'm so glad the four of us are here together. The singing is just wonderful. We have our worship times in an outdoor pavilion. Last night we enjoyed listening to the rain on the roof as we sang.

I did not know you would be able to post. I am so glad you can! The camp looks beautiful, and it is so neat that you are all there.

I found the 100 cal cupcakes against the wall by the donuts at Heb. They were even on sale! I just ate one and thought of you.

Does your phone work. I am thinking it must since you posted.
