Thomas turns 8 & camping

Village Creek State Park, Arkansas.....our maiden voyage in the camper (or as we call it, our mobile school room:)

Okay, I suggested the shorter trail first, and along the way we learned about the trees we passed at each numbered marker. Of course, I would have read every word on the trail guide, but our troop was eager to see how fast they could blaze the trail!! We all had fun, and got lots of exercise;)

We hiked to Austell Lake, this was almost 2 miles one way.

Thomas LOVED getting thrown by Corbin- I don't know who had more fun, Thomas or me enjoying listening to his squeals and laughter.

I was taking pictures of the kids on the beach, and turned around and greatly enjoyed the little gift God left for me!

We were REALLY roughing it!!!!!! This isn't camping, it's .......um...........house on wheels in the middle of a state park;)

We had a fun day, celebrating Thomas turning 8......we are so thankful for our "Sweet T"!!

T loves to work on Origami crafts. Thanks, Aunt Chew!

For his birthday dessert, Thomas asked for ice cream, then a brownie, then chocolate chip cookies;)
