Field trip

We went to the Ft. Worth Children's Museum Monday with our favorite field trip buddies- Crowells! It was defintely humid enough for the outside water play....
Shelbs inside this cool plastic expandable ball....
Here it is all expanded...
Here it is all shrunk...it was a really cool plastic/toy/thing...(I'm sure there was some scientific something to learn about how it's connected so it can expand, but I just liked it!)
Jodi went into this dark room to see how we could learn about light (well, first I went in and told her I couldn't find anything cool to do, so she went in and found something for us!)...so really this picture is supposed to be all dark, and the kids are writing with these pens that light up and draw "light" pictures on this fabric thing...really neat, but can't show it taking a picture....
Another learning thing about motion....you spin really fast and hold your leg in different positions to see how if affects how fast/slow you go....I am dizzy just typing about it...
you cut these paper plates/cups and send it up an air tube to see how the different cuts affect how they'll fly up...Jo do you still have yours? we do!
They are making these windmill type pieces and there is a fan blowing by the table, so if you do it correctly, it will make your piece turn....
okay, out of order...this is the tube that you stick the paper cups/plates up and it sucks it up and comes out the top, and floats back down...Toby tried a lot of things!
