Cheri and I and the kids spent about 5 hours at the zoo today! We had a great time and saw lots of cool things like flamingo eggs...
gazelles standing on their back legs to reach food...
(don't be jealous of Cheri- she can't help that he loves her so much!)
a HUGE crocodile...
beautiful creatures that God made unique...
the girls got to pet a milk snake- yuck! I touched it, but only so that I could say that I did!
a gorgeous bald eagle...
a lazy tiger...
a huge spider trying to catch its' dinner...
check out those claws!! Cheri is going to post some more fun pics I think! She is a great field trip buddy!On a side note, this is what I found Toby doing while I was cleaning up dinner!

We had a blast...Abby Kate showed me a science notebook she was working on...it was awesome!
yes, we had fun at the zoo- so good to see the "Cromwells" and SO FUN to hold TOBY- oh, his soft cheeks, the feel of him on my hip...the way he wrapped his little arms around my neck for a squeeze hug....do you all get the picture?!
