Our zoo day started out great....here are the girls feeding the giraffes lettuce...
We all got close enough to touch the giraffe!!!
Our new elephant exhibit is great...this one was cute, playing in the water.....
We enjoyed watching this elephant behind us filling up his trunk, then drinking the water....
We loved the 2 zookeeper talks we had...one with the elephants and this one with 2 one and 1/2 yr old male lions...we were up close (of course there was a fence) but we watched them train them with raw meat to do simple tricks...they were huge for only 1 and 1/2yrs old....huge paws!
We were all enjoying the day.....we stayed a little longer than we planned.....hurried to leave and .........
Thank God no one was seriously hurt......that Ryan came quickly, that those involved werepatient with everyone... mom was very helpful .....lesson to learn for myself....

What a fun day at the zoo- so glad mom was there- to enjoy the day and to help you after your accident. Your grateful heart for God's provisions is a good example to me!

Wow - that is a post with some very opposite feelings! The pictures from the zoo were great!
