End of the Year Happenings

Permian counted down the top ten tonight. Here is Luke after being called for #1. There is a teeny video clip below. The kid that walks through the pic in the video is Luke's best friend since kindergarten - he had just been called for the no. 2 class rank. They could easily swap back and forth in the rankings, and thankfully they are very happy for one another as they each excel in their different areas. Andrew is a member of the church - goes to a smaller congregation in town.

Nimitz Jr. High awards ceremony....

There were 10 kids in the 7th grade who made A-honor roll every grading period.

Outstanding Boy - Orchestra

Giving the Girls Tennis MVP a thumbs up - I think she might be getting ready to give Jake a high five? She's Xandria, his mixed-doubles partner.

Jake was named the MVP for Boys Tennis. We love Coach Sanchez - at the podium. He's such a laid-back coach. By the way, the awardees were encouraged to dress in Sunday Best for the ceremony - a break from the school uniforms!
