Today we rented bikes and rode around Durango. The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed biking in an area surrounded by mountains. We rode along the Animas River.

The guy at the bike shop said we had to go to the BMX park and do some "gnarley" tricks and "lay down some skid marks." I'm quite sure we did not even catch any air. 
I went a bit too high on this turn. Tim would have taken a picture of what happened next, but he needed to come rescue me.
We had nachos for dinner.
Mallory made us cookies for dessert....
...with icing and sprinkles.
Tomorrow we drive to Silverton to rent a jeep and take some backcountry trails.

We loved riding bikes along that river! Do you have any wounds from your fall? Mark and I were just saying that we could do that trip over again! So glad you are having such a good time!
