An excerpt from Mallory's card to her daddy: "I am so blessed to have a dad that is as loving and involved as you are. You've always gone out of your way to make sure we knew how much you loved us.....Lots of fathers spend less time with the kids as they become teens, but I'm glad you aren't like most dads. You are one of a kind. I've never been embarrassed for you to hang out with me or my friends or attend church activities with me. In fact, you are usually the funniest guy there! My friends love you! You are incredibly wise and are great at giving advice......You are extremely patient with your family and I know we all appreciate your humor.You sacrifice so much time and effort to encourage me and bring me up in the Lord.
