Mal and Amner...some of these poses, like this one...the girls got from you all in your great picture
taking skills!
We had the best time...such awesome, beautiful creations of God! I enjoyed our timer on the camera for our family shots!
This is across the small street from our cabin...this deer comes onto this man's property, right on the side of town, and sits inside his fenced off area....
In the kitchen of our cabin.....
On one of our hikes, the girls collected pine cones, flowers, anything they could find on the trail, and stopped to decorate a small pine tree....
This was one of my favorite spots ....so very beautiful...and it was a very long, uphill hike...the girls did so well, - Ryan and I were noticing how when we go up these hills we - well, let's just say we aren't soft on the girls as we go up...then on the way down, we (Ryan and I) realize just how long and steep the uphill was and feel a little bad for the way we expected the girls to be on the way up....(let's just say there were some trails we wanted to rename "Trail of Tears"
We went rafting one day...."Mountain Man" tours...it was a 9 mile ride down the Rio Grande...b/c of the time of year, the water was a Class 1- it was a nice ride......
There are small chipmunks everywhere....we tossed bread to one as we were eating beside Love Lake one evening.....
Horseback riding....Hannah was so excited to ride her own horse..(she was too young when we were there 2 years ago.......Hannah's horse is "Smitty"
I had such fun watching Faith and Hannah go across this log to sit on it....these mountain streams are beautiful, and good to catch trout in.....
We got to eat one fish Ryan caught.....the girls enjoyed the preparation....cutting it open, the insides, the tail (Faith holding below).
The girls' bunk beds......
We went on the Ute Trail one day...you have to cross the stream to get to the other side of the trail....Ryan was afraid it would go up too high on Hannah....
Faith caught a trout.....
The girls know how much I love the pretty green moss on the forest floor....one spot we stopped to fish along a trail, it was so green and we thought it was softer than any carpet!
Ryan cast, then called Hannah over to reel in this trout......
One of my favorite things.....looking for pretty stones along the creeks....
This is on top of Inspiration Point...a trail that starts right in town....in fact, right behind us is the town of Creede...and we are standing where they set off fireworks from the top of Inspiration Point.

What an amazing family trip! I am so glad that you all were able to spend such good time together in a beautiful place.
If they had fallen off that log, would it have been as bad as it looked?
