Hand in Hand Couples Christmas Party

Mark and I went to our Hand in Hand Couples Christmas Party Tuesday night and had a lot of fun!
This is our Robert Bullock. Melanie is the Leader of this ministry and he was less than thrilled to have to wear this elves suit, but was a good sport and very funny!
We were divided into groups and had little competitions. Mark and I were chosen in our groups to be the ones to dress up. We were supposed to be in the same group, but I switched so I could be with a girl I asked to come to the party. Mark beat me, but only by a few points!
I was a "Petunia Wayne" and was carrying scissors as guns. We could only use what was given to us to dress up. I decided to use the scissors as props.

The Hand in Hand mentors and their husbands were the audience/judges.
The 4 contestants in the middle of the 2 jolly elves.
This is my friend Brandee. She and her husband are 2 of the police officers that work at our church during services/events. Mark and I have made friends with them, had dinner, and invited them to this. They seemed to have fun, they usually party pretty hard. Brandee is coming to church with me on Sunday- I am so excited! They bring their kids to Bible class when they work Sunday mornings and Dylan and Toby are good buds. We are so excited about loving on this couple and introducing them to the blessings of a church family. She is a hoot and fun to be around.

That looks like you all had a great time, Jo- love the scissors/guns effect..you should have gotten extra points for that! I am so proud of your desire to bring others into God's family...
