We were thrilled that Cher-Bear, Jo, and the blondies stayed for Jake's piano recital!
Jake received several trophies, medals and ribbons for accomplishments in theory tests, performances, and practice hours.
Nimitz Jr. High conducted the 8th-grade Awards Assembly this week. Jake received four awards: Tennis Team MVP, Orchestra Outstanding Boy, Algebra Award, and All A's All Year.
Jake and Mrs. Fawcett, the principal. She calls him her son because her own son, Jack, and Jake look so much alike! People confuse them all the time, and they've been known to trade ID badges!

He is an amazing piano player! So glad we got to watch him live!
