Julie posted these pictures, but did not put any words. I decided to add some commentary so that everyone who sees this post will know how very proud we are of Luke. Tonight was the announcement of class ranks for Permian High School.
LUKE IS VALEDICTORIAN!!!!
He has worked so hard to achieve this amazing goal, and we all want him to know that we are so thrilled with this accomplishment. Luke is a humble, godly young man, and he is so deserving of this honor.
Luke, we love you and we know that God has some amazing things planned for your future.
And we can't end the post without saying.....like mother, like son! (For nonfamily members, Julie was also a high school - and college - valedictorian.)

Oh, my, Luke....the Nienstadts are so very, very proud of you...and like the notes said...you are so humble when you receive all your many (well deserved) awards...God is good!!!
