Mal and I had a great time in Washington, DC for the National Day of Prayer. She will be posting many pictures on her blog in the next day or so - be sure to check it. I will just post a few here.
Mal in our Representative's office.
This is a view of the Capitol from the front door of the Supreme Court.
We really enjoyed the NDP events. It is such a privilege to bring our country before God in prayer in our nation's capital.
We went on the night Capitol tour again this year. It is one of the neatest things we do there.
Louie Gohmert, a representative from the Tyler area leads the tour each year. He is amazing! He is a Christian who loves American history, and he especially loves talking about it until the early morning hours. He had to stop this year at 1:00 AM because we needed to get on the bus to go back to the hotel.
The Natonal Observance was really inspiring. We certainly pray that God will bless our country and that Americans will be a blessing to God by serving Him.
