Horse Happenings

I enlisted Andrew's help in fertilizing our garden plot- I am hoping our neighbor will come over and till the manure into the soil. Andrew is becoming quite the farm boy!!

Fancy is our mare, and we call her Corbin's horse. She is a retired barrel racing horse. Corbin is learning to re-train her, and here and in the video below he is "lunging" her- having her run in circles according to specific commands he gives about her speed and direction, and signaling her to stop when HE says (NOT when she feels like it;).

Baylor is really a sweetheart, and I am REALLY enjoying learning to ride on him, and learning more about horsemanship from Mrs. Robin- our horse instructor. Corbin and I have been taking Anmer's lessons while she is on the mend.
