Fun Family Times!

We have had so much fun with Lainie, the Nienstadts and the Crowells.

Jodi was making fun of my Christmas sweaters. She said that they should be worn by children under the age of 8 and not again until over the age of 65. She went to my closet to hide them so I wouldn't wear one to the Christmas program we were going to that night. Too bad....she missed one. Cheri and I went early to get seats. When Jodi showed up later, she had on one of my sweaters. I think she did it because she felt guilty for making fun of me. (I will say that all the sweaters like mine were worn by sweet old ladies!)
The Christmas Celebration at Sugar Land Baptist.

The girls love Mal!

Shelby helped me make Pumpkin Bread. We were making it and she said, "My mom never lets me help this much." Poor, deprived child!

We had a show time where the girls played the piano and sang for us. Mason and Mal gave their speeches.

Cheri brought stuff to make Christmas trees with ice cream cones, icing, and sprinkles. They sat in coconut "snow."

Today was the first day of winter........and we played with water balloons!!

Eating the fun trees. (Note that we are not only outside, we are far from the house! The mess potential was high.)

We played a super fun game that Debbie sent to Cheri. It is called Journey to Bethlehem, and I highly recommend it as a perfect Christmas family game.
Christmas Bingo with M&Ms.

A fun "hot potato" game with presents.

We had an early Christmas with each other.
