Luke's first buck (warning...a little graphic)

A big 24 hours for Luke. First, last night while returning from his girlfriend's house across town in his Dad's truck, Luke was pulled over. He said he wasn't so much nervous as perplexed because he wasn't speeding. It was a brake light out! It took him a minute to find the insurance...that's what rattled him most. But he said overall it went well - no ticket - and he was on his way. Of course, he was late getting home and I was about to launch into my speech when he told me what happened. Then, this morning he got his first deer - and it was a buck! Luke hasn't been able to go to the lease very often because he has math meets almost every Saturday, so I'm glad he was able to get something. We are mounting the antlers and skull.

Well Julie,
Looks like your "boys" are becoming "men" I know that day will come for me with Reid, but right now I am enjoying him being a "boy". That is exciting for them and good bonding time for Lane too!
Enjoyed the pics thanks for sharing,
Megan
