Valentine's Day

The girls love to play with their dolls and horses...our neighbors across the street, with 2 teenage girls, just gave us the black horse....
This was so cool...Ryan is part of a quartet within the Men of Note group and on Valentine's Day, the quartets (there are many of them within the group)- take the day off work, and go to various places to sing 2-3 Valentine songs....you call and reserve them (for a fee-it's like a fundraiser)...Bob had called and they went to Linda's work first thing in the morning...anyway, I so wanted to hear Ryan - so they stopped by the house....Ryan was great...they all were!

This man makes balloons for the people they sing to....in his real job, he is a professional clown!
and, yes, I was crying, listening to Ryan sing!

Then we went with some homeschool friends from our church to a nearby nursing home, to pass out Valentine cards, and play the piano....Hannah wouldn't come sit with me, by the seniors, as the kids were playing piano, but when it was time to go, she gave good hugs to the residents!

Banana girl playing some songs...

Passing out cards...
Faith, playing what she's learned...

I love this post! Ryan looks so handsome all dressed up - wish we could hear him sing sometime.

The nursing home activity sounds precious - reminds me of homeschool things we used to do.

Cheri- this is one of my all time favorite posts!!! Thank you so much for sharing Ryan's singing group and your activities with the girls. Looks like Faith and Hannah are really becoming quite the pianists!! (is that a word?)
Also, love the hair do's!!!
