What we've been up to..........

Corbin and the kids and I took care of Mrs. Sandy's kennel (next door) for 10 days, and it was hard work, but also fun. This was a great opportunity for them to learn different types of responsibility and earn some extra money. This is Barkley, Mrs. Sandy's grand-dog- he was a sweetie- the only dog the children could get it the pen with.If you look closely, you can see a long pole that goes across the doggie door- this kept the kids safe and the dogs inside while they shoveled the outside runs.We averaged about 8 -10 dogs/day. Below is Nikon- we was just so handsome with his bright blue eyes.
Below, Anmer fills the water buckets. One Saturday, Thomas and I played at the church playground while the others did TKD, you know how you make those precious memories playing with your children, the ones that you hope you will never, ever forget? This was one of those mornings, I pushed Thomas on the tire swing, and we laughed and had a wonderful time!!There was a "swampy" area next to our back porch, Corbin dug to investigate and found the drippy pipe, it was an answer to prayer that he dug right into the problem, and was able to fix it in a few (very hot) days!Anne Marie continues to be creative and learn lots about photography, we all enjoy her pictures.Okay, this was a big day for Thomas, the first time he drove the go-cart ALL BY HIMSELF!!!
I have the cutest video, but it won't load for some reason :( He felt like such a big kid!!
