The Onsteads hosted our FOPS Christmas Party this year, and we had such a good time! We are so blessed to have this group of friends to share our lives with. Amy made these adorable reindeer cupcakes - so cute!
Amy planned the best, most fun games!
She got a little help from Jodi for the wrapping paper dress-up game. Lauren was a princess.
Mal was Ellie the Elf.
And Ben was a Nutcracker.
In the next game the kids had to decorate the moms like snowmen. (I guess it would be snowladies.) They had to use the entire roll of toilet paper and give us buttons and a scarf.
The White Elephant gift exchange is always a crowd pleaser. The 5 foot lighted candy cane we brought was a hit. (So sorry, Amy, that Ben thinks it looks great in his room!)
We ended the night talking about what Christmas is all about. Eric talked to us about what it must have been like for Mary to be the mother of Jesus. We watched the video of the song "Mary Did You Know" and had some discussion about it.
It was a great night. Along with thanking God for sending His Son, we thank Him for wonderful friends.
