Pine Springs Final

While it rained several times, our last few days saw gorgeous blue skies.

Lane and I had a wonderful cell group (below). We met every evening to discuss the worship message. We prayed together, as well, and grew quite close during this week.

All dressed up for the Friday night banquet. The boys and girls were matched with "dates." They came to the chapel to pick them up.

We were told by one of the ladies who drew the date names out of a hat that one of the boys was matched with one of the special needs young ladies at camp. She told us the group drawing names was so relieved that the girl was matched with Luke or Jake, as they knew she would be treated very kindly. Lane actually told the boys ahead of time that one of them had Andrea or Natalia (the special young ladies.) Luke had picked flowers for his date, but together they decided to give the flowers to the special young lady. Jake was paired with Andrea (below) and she was delighted to get the flowers.

The seniors were all introduced and honored. Yes, I cried! 

Luke and A'Lysa grew up together at 6th and Jackson.
