Alaskan Cruise Part 1

These next several posts will be an attempt to hit the highlights of the amazing Alaskan Cruise we just returned from.  Each family left with two discs filled with 1,700 pictures - thanks to Corbin who compiled them for us.  That being said, these posts will barely show all the fun we had and the beauty we saw.  I'm sure each family has favorites of their own that they might add, but this will serve as an overview.

We flew into Seattle and really enjoyed the view we had of Mount Rainier from the plane.  All 23 of us were on the same flight from Salt Lake City to Seattle.  Needless to say, we made quite a scene!

A happy sister reunion at the airport.
This is not a great picture, but it shows the van that transported us all to the hotel.
We spent the first night in Seattle so we were able to do some sight seeing.  Pike Place Market is quite an experience.

The next morning we were ready to set sail!

The sister's rooms were all in a row, and our balconies opened up so that we could walk from room to room.
 Let the eating begin......

At our Muster Stations for the emergency drill.
As we set sail we got a good picture with Seattle in the background.  See the Space Needle?
Several of us enjoyed the Sail Off Party.
Dinner each night was a fun highlight of the trip.

The night ended with a pretty sunset and 23 people anxious for the week to begin.  Stay tuned for the rest of the posts.  Maybe I can get them all done tomorrow.
